Client Satisfaction Survey
In December 2009, we asked all VMI clients who had hired from us in the previous 6 months exactly what they thought about us and they told us!
All told, we had 70 fully completed questionnaires and they are summarised for you here.
They answered that we rated between good and excellent on all factors without exception and we have picked out some of these for you below from the survey.
This on-line survey was carried out independently by Constant Contact and was totally outside VMI’s control.
Of these respondents, 95.8% considered VMI to be either their preferred supplier or one of a couple of preferred suppliers.
From this, these are some of the comments which were left – we enjoyed them so much, that we wanted to share them with you!
Great level of service and the best knowledgeable staff with a great attitude to their work. I do prefer using VMI whenever possible, due to the good level of service and generally good quality of kit.
The range of kit is first class. But to me the difference is the attitude of the people who deal with you and compared to other suppliers VMI are way ahead. I required some extra items and one email sorted it out. So many thanks to all concerned.
Great to have the viewing room in D'arblay Street. Great to have had the RED for recce day at no extra cost to work out post-workflow.
You have a great selection and so are useful if we can't get a specific camera at late notice.
Having never used vmi before I wasn't sure what to expect, however apon contacting you, I was more than impressed with how you dealt with my request and some what last minute hire. I was really happy with the service.

I find VMI to provide excellent and friendly service. One of the main reasons I use them is the openness and friendliness of MD Barry Bassett - his can do attitude and willingness to help and full understanding of budgets being squeezed is the main reason for my repeat booking of VMI.

I think you make more effort than other companies to create a good relationship with clients. I am impressed with the training courses and the use of the screening room and the facility to try kit out in the office before hiring - without pressure to hire.
Staff are extremely polite and helpful when booking kit or even general advice. Keep up the good work.
I have always found all dealings with VMI to be excellent on all levels.
Consistency of equipment maintenance and kit inventory is paramount for us. We've found that cheaper companies often provide far-inferior kits that haven't been checked and have bits missing/un-charged batteries. I'm always happy to pay a bit more for reliability as small errors can cost dearly in the longer term.
I like the fact you help us indie filmmakers on pricing (as we are always on low/tight budgets). Please keep recognising us! :)
